COLUMBUS (AP) -- A man charged in the slaying of a young mother and the abduction of her 4-year-old son was ordered held on $5 million bond today. Charlie Myers, 22, made an initial court appearance in Vandalia Municipal Court. Speaking on a video conference call from a jail in Dayton, Myers told the judge he understood the charges against him and said he didn't have an attorney.
